Overview

The Tribe offers various health and wellness programs and services to citizens. These include workshops, exercise classes, home visits, and more. All citizens (regardless of location) can contact our Health and Wellness Coordinator, Ashton Montez, with any health related questions or concerns, and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) requests. Funded by the SAMHSA Native Connections Grant, the Chickahominy Circles of Grace Program is dedicated to fostering the mental health and well-being of the Chickahominy Indian Tribe.

The Chickahominy Circles of Grace Program is dedicated to fostering the mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our youth through culturally grounded, community-driven support systems. We strive to empower our young people by providing access to comprehensive mental health services, promoting cultural heritage, and building resilient, healthy futures for the Chickahominy Indian Tribe.

Our vision is to create a thriving, resilient Chickahominy Community where every youth is celebrated for their culture, empowered with the tools, support, and cultural grounding they need to achieve optimal mental health and well-being. We aspire to be a beacon of hope and healing, fostering a strong, culturally vibrant community where youth are resilient, connected, and thriving in mind, body, and spirit.

Indian Health Service Purchased and Referred Care

Eligible Tribal citizens living in designated service areas are eligible to receive assistance through the Indian Health Service (IHS) Purchased and Referred Care Program (PRC). This program is not managed by the Chickahominy Indian Tribe.
